Wolves and Tottenham are hunting down Celtic defender Mitchel Frame, according to the journalist Pete O’Rourke.

The Truth: Streamlined Frame

Frame is just 15 and a left-back who plays for Scotland at Under-16 level.

He is yet to sign a professional contract with the Hoops and is considered one of the club’s next best prospects.

Transfermarkt picked him as their Under-17 player for Celtic but it looks like he could be the last teenager to leave Parkhead.

The latest: O’Rourke’s tweet

O’Rourke took to Twitter on Monday night and claimed Wolves and Tottenham were following Frame.

“Tottenham and Wolves are tracking much-loved young Celtic star Mitchel Frame.”

Football Scotland believe both clubs, along with Crystal Palace, have offered the youngster a three-year professional contract.

The verdict: Not ideal…

Celtic have lost a number of young starlets recently, and it looks like Frame could be next with three clubs keen and offering deals.

Leo Hjelde is a prime example of a young defender who leaves the Hoops without making a senior appearance only to progress elsewhere.

He recently made his Premier League debut for Leeds, and although Frame is not yet 16, one would expect him to be next to leave Parkhead and break into the English top flight, perhaps. to be with Wolves.
