Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel has a ‘new crisis on his hands’ as a host of stars look for a way out of Stamford Bridge this summer, according to a transfer insider DeanJones.
Tuchel has been in charge of the Blues since he was named Frank Lampard’s successor over 15 months ago but it looks like he faces a serious challenge over the next few months.
Who will leave Chelsea this summer?
The Roman Abramovich sanction has prevented Chelsea from handing lucrative new contracts to Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen, whose current deals are due to expire this summer.
None of the centre-backs are expected to stay in west London as Tuchel has confirmed Rudiger will move to new pastures, while Spanish sources have revealed Christensen has signed a five-year contract at Barcelona worth £21million.
Meanwhile, the transfer guru fabrice romano claimed Marcos Alonso has made exiting the Premier League a priority and, amid interest from Barcelona, would like to seal a return to his native Spain.
Chelsea may be more willing to sanction the left-back’s departure after that has emerged Alonso was involved in a ‘heated exchange’ with Tuchel at half-time in the weekend’s tie with Wolverhampton Wanderers, leading to his substitution.
Romelu Lukaku is also reportedly looking for the exit door less than 12 months after his record £97.5m return from Inter Milan.

What did Dean Jones say about the situation?
Jones believes Tuchel is set to face one of the most testing periods of his managerial career as a host of big names hope to leave Chelsea in the coming months.
The transfer insider understands that Barcelona are looking to lure a number of Blues stars to Camp Nou and expects sweeping changes to be made to the west Londoners’ squad.
Jones told GIVEMESPORT: “The takeover is being fixed, but now it looks like Tuchel has a new crisis on his hands because half the team wants to leave.
“They’re fighting Barcelona for almost every player on the run and they’re going to get an overhaul. They probably need that, to be honest, from what we’ve seen.
What’s the latest news on the Chelsea takeover?
Chelsea confirmed last week that an agreement was in place for a consortium led by Todd Boehly to release the club from Abramovich’s hands.
The club’s statement revealed that the deal, worth a total of £4.25billion, is expected to be approved later this month.
It comes after Abramovich put Chelsea up for sale in March, shortly after Russia invaded Ukraine.
