Spurs eager 26; reporter says they might “even make him a priority

Tottenham Hotspur have been quite active in the transfer market so far this summer and Antonio Conte isn’t done with his business yet.

According to the journalist DeanJonesSpurs are still keen to sign Wolverhampton Wanderers winger Adama Traore.

The 26-year-old Spain international was on loan at Barcelona during the second half of last season and he enjoyed a mixed spell with the Catalan giants.

Traore is said to be surplus to requirements for Wolves next season and he has been linked with a summer move.

Jones revealed to GiveMeSport that Spurs officials are determined to bring the Spaniard to the club this summer and he could even be a priority target for them.

He said: “I think Adama Traore should still be considered for this spot. We know how much they loved him. There are people involved in the setup who really want Adama Traore and would even make him a priority because they think he would be such a good choice.

Traore has shown flashes of his genius in the Premier League over the years, but his lack of end product and consistency has been a major concern. It will be interesting to see if Conte can help him improve if the Londoners end up signing him.

The 26-year-old can function as a winger as well as a full-back. His versatility will be an added bonus for the Premier League side.
