A piece of journalist Maite Jimenez for Spanish publication Sport have praised the impact Bryan Gil has already had at Valencia.
Gil went on loan to Valencia on transfer deadline day, just six months after moving from Sevilla to Spurs in the summer.
The 20-year-old has had an impressive start with Los Che. According to reports, Valencia have been so impressed with the Spain international that he is already ready to open talks with Spurs over extending his loan until next season (Cadena SER).
Tottenham are believed to be hoping Gil has a future in north London and expect him to return to the club at the end of his loan spell this summer (evening standard).
Jimenez has now gone lyrical about the impact the Spurs man has had at the Mestalla, insisting the winger has already won over the fans.
She wrote that Gil had helped Valencia supporters ‘regain confidence in their team’ after just four appearances for the club.
The report says Los Che fans have already been won over by the youngster, whose performances have so far been described as ‘fast, electric, bold, confident and with enough quality to dodge rivals, gain yards and be differential in the danger zone”.
Boosts web opinion
Gil has already proven during his loan spell at Eibar what he is capable of and so, I was not surprised by the impact he had on his return to La Liga.
If Conte doesn’t consider him ready for first-team football at Spurs, I would like to see the 20-year-old loaned out to the Premier League club next season so he can get used to the demands of English football. .
