Journalist advises Juventus to sign Serie A’s highest-rated star

Sergej Milinkovic-Savic has been on Juventus’ radar for a long time but Lazio have kept him at Roma so far.

The Biancocelesti are still keen on keeping the midfielder in their squad, even if his contract expires in 2024.

They intend to offer him an extension, but he now has a good chance of changing teams.

This could see him not extending his contract with Lazio and instead looking to leave the club.

Juve should be ready to pounce if given encouragement for the midfielder to leave.

Journalist Marcello Chirico believes that will be the case and the Serbian will end up playing in black and white.

He said via Tutomercatoweb:

“He left the stadium with a standing ovation. Lotito can’t push too hard this year. He was able to do it so far because he had a long contract. If he’s okay with Juve, we’ll go all the way and lose him zero. For me, Juventus takes it.”

Juve FC says

Milinkovic-Savic has consistently been among the best midfielders in Europe over the past few seasons.

Adding him to our team will strengthen us and he will come with a lot of experience.

However, he could still cost us a lot of money as Lazio would rather sell him to another club.
