Italian journalist Fabio Ravezzani: “InterSpac a useless project, Carlo Cottarelli played with Inter”

Italian journalist Fabio Ravezzani believes that Carlo Cottarelli’s InterSpac project is useless and that the Italian senator played with the Nerazzurri.

The Italian journalist and broadcaster sent out a tweet criticizing Carlo Cottarelli and InterSpac for being doomed while accusing the Italian economist-turned-politician of only launching the project to support his entry into politics.

“I don’t understand how someone like Cottarelli started a useless project like InterSpac. I wrote at the time that the only explanation was to gain visibility.

“His entry into politics confirms this suspicion (whether as a senator or a governor). He played with Inter,” the Telelombardia manager said.

Cottarelli is the driving force behind the InterSpac project, an initiative to make the actions of the Nerazzurri accessible to the general public.

Carlo Cotarelli is a well-known economist and an Inter fan. The initiative is to move away from the current ownership model of the Nerazzurri, which is a sole proprietorship, and towards a model where fans have a majority stake in the club through ownership of stakes in a holding company.

It is a similar model used by the Green Bay Packers of the National Football League and some teams in the German Bundesliga.
