Inter are close to agreeing a deal to sign winger Raoul Bellanova from Cagliari, according to Italian journalist Gianluigi Longari.
In a tweet, the SportItalia reporter said the Nerazzurri are one step away from signing the 22-year-old and are ahead of all competition for his signature.
Bellanova has emerged in recent weeks as a serious target for the Nerazzurri as they aim to strengthen across wide areas after Ivan Perisic left for Tottenham Hotspur on a free transfer.
The club wasted no time trying to secure a deal for the winger, and according to Longari, they are close to securing a deal for him from relegated Cagliari.
The Rossoblu have signed Bellanova permanently from Bordeaux after loaning him out last season, and they will soon benefit from it, with Longari reporting that it was the Nerazzurri who won the race for his signature.
His tweet reads: “Inter are one step away from Raoul Bellanova, who has been permanently signed by Cagliari. As expected at the end of May, the Nerazzurri are big fans of the young winger, and acted quickly compared to the competition.
🚨 #Inter svolta ad un passo per #Bellanova riscattato from part of the #Cagliari. Come anticipato a fine maggio l’esterno piace molto ai #nerazzurri che hanno seminato il vuoto rispetto alla concorrenza. @tvdellosport ⬇️ https://t.co/oLEfY7bJHf
