Inter are considering signing Real Madrid midfielder Dani Ceballos during the summer transfer window to bolster their central options.
This according to Italian journalist Niccolo Ceccarini, who reported in his column for TuttoMercatoWeb that the Nerazzurri see the 25-year-old as a target and he could request a departure from the Spanish capital.
Ceballos has not been in favor this season at Madrid, with the Spanish midfielder rarely present from start or from the bench for Carlo Ancelotti’s site.
Because of this, he is increasingly determined to seek a move to a club where he can get back into shape with more appearances and a bigger role.
Inter are aware of the Spaniard’s situation and could decide to replace him before next season, with Los Blancos potentially ready to let go given he’s not an important player in their squad.
“Inter are always trying to strengthen in midfield, and their list of names also includes Ceballos,” writes Ceccarini.
“The Spaniard finds very little playing time at Real Madrid and is ready to ask for a sale to find consistency,” he adds.
He explains that “Marotta and Ausilio are at the window, ready to seize the opportunity”.
