F1 News: Entire Red Bull team boycotts Sky after reporter’s comments about Max Verstappen – F1 Briefings

According to recent reports, the full Red Bull Racing team will not be speaking with Sky Sports F1 after Ted Kravitz made comments about the team during his pit stop over the weekend.

Max Verstappen started this trend yesterday after his father Jos told him to stop all communication with the broadcaster. It came after Kravitz shared his feelings about how the 2021 season was being known, admitting that then-race director Michael Masi “gave” the Belgian driver the championship.

Now the entire team, including chef Christian Horner and Sergio Perez, will speak with the UK company, including all of its variants of different editions aimed at different countries.

Kravitz said the following:

“Seven times world champion – I almost said eight times world champion – seven times world champion enters the final race trying to be the greatest of all time and win [the] championship.

“He gets robbed, comes back, his car from the next year sucks… doesn’t win a race all year, then finally comes back to a track where he could win the first race of the year, in fighting the same guy who won the race he was robbed the year before and manages to finish ahead of him.

“What a scenario and what a story it would have been. But that’s not how the script went, is it?

“Because the guy who beat him after he was robbed actually overtook him, because he has a faster car, because of engineering, Formula 1 and design, and pretty much due to [Adrian Newey, Red Bull’s design guru] over there.”

We’ll be following F1 today and seeing if it continues through to the end of the race, but with Verstappen looking set to take another podium place here, we’re eagerly awaiting how the Red Bulls take on the newbies. performance that the Mercs found.
