Erik ten Hag ignores Sky Sports reporter’s question at press conference – Reuters

Erik ten Hag declined any questions from Sky Sports reporter Gary Cotterill.

During his pre-match press conference for the Premier League clash against Southampton, United officials prevented Cotterill from asking questions.

He was then ignored by Ten Hag outside Carrington.

United are said to be offended by Cotterill’s tweet posted after their 4-0 defeat at the hands of Brentford.

The tweed read “#karma” and was followed by a smiling emoji.

The reported veteran said:

“I’m surprised. There were only two people doing their jobs, but I guess he was offended by that.

“The thing at Palace is that he was doing his job and not commenting and I was doing my job and trying to get a comment.”

“I just guess that was the reason. I was not informed. You saw what was said, but I don’t think it would be too hard to assume that was what it was.

Cotterill was passed over by Ten Hag at Selhurst Park after United’s final game of the season.

The Dutchman was asked if he was happy to take the United job after which he was turned away by security.

The reporter was unhappy with the whole situation and said, “It doesn’t look good to be roughed up by security, Erik. It’s Manchester United. It’s a big club. »

The Sky reporter will be told by Ten Hag why he decided to do this.
