The Greedy Health Insurance Myth

Posted by Doug Ragan

There is a myth that Health Insurance companies are fully responsible for the high cost of health care. I decided to put this together after reading that health insurance companies have a profit margin of around 3% which is one of the worst in the country. I also want to address issues concerning executive pay.

Before you can truly debate a subject, you MUST educate yourself. If you are afraid of the truth, go to another website. If you want to know the truth about Health Care costs, watch this video.

My skills putting together a slide show and converting it into a video leave a bit to be desired, but this doesn’t take away from the truth behind the presentation.

Please pay attention to the numbers, then send this to everyone who is paying attention to the health care debate. Then send it to everyone who isn’t paying attention to the heath care debate.

This is in contrast to what Pelosi and Obama are claiming of course. It also gives information on what would happen to health insurance if it were run by the government. http://thenewpundit.com/2009/11/08/the-greedy-health-insurance-myth/ [...]

  4. Health insurance can seem a lot of money but for what health care costs in reality depending on the type on insurance you get after the premium the insurance company could pay a lot more for you to get better. Health insurance companies are business that are there to make a profit and that’s perfectly understandable. The problem is when they cancel a policy when a person gets a long term illness or don’t pay out due to a minute problem on a claims form that’s what is wrong with these companies.
