I’m still getting e-mails from the Anointed One, Barack Obama. I got two today, and when you put them together, they provide a little laugh. One talks about change, while begging for more money. The other tells us about the old Clinton cronies he is putting in his cabinet.

I thought that George Bush put our economy into such shambles that we can’t afford to pay our mortgages. If this is true, why am I being asked to donate AFTER the election?

Add that to the fact that I thought these twits were elected to help me. Isn’t that what they ran on?

The really great part is that this e-mail arrived the same day as this one.

Yesterday, President-elect Barack Obama and Vice President-elect Joe Biden announced key members of their national security team.

Barack and Joe have asked some of the country’s most experienced leaders on national security, foreign policy, law enforcement, and military matters to come together to renew America’s security and standing in the world.

Hillary Clinton, U.S. Senator from New York and former First Lady, will serve as Secretary of State.

Secretary Robert Gates, the current Secretary of Defense, will continue to serve in that role.

Eric Holder, former Deputy Attorney General and a former United States Attorney for the District of Columbia, will serve as Attorney General.

Janet Napolitano, Governor and former U.S. Attorney for Arizona, will serve as Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security.

Dr. Susan E. Rice, a Senior Foreign Policy Advisor to the Obama for America campaign, a Senior Fellow at the Brookings Institution, and former U.S. Assistant Secretary of State for African Affairs, will serve as Ambassador to the United Nations.

General Jim Jones, USMC (Ret), former Allied Commander, Europe, and Commander of the United States European Command, will serve as National Security Advisor.

All of Obama’s appointments to date have not been change. They have been more of the same. They are the exact opposite of Obama in that they do have experience, although despite that experience, some of them are still very bad at their jobs. Obama spent much of the primaries telling us that the Clintons were more of the same, and then he hires the old Clinton cronies for his cabinet.

Eric Holder, contrary to popular belief, was directly involved in the pardon for Marc Rich. Janet Napolitano led the charge to falsely accuse Clarence Thomas of sexual harassment, and was rewarded by Bill Clinton with the appointment to U.S. Attorney for Arizona in 1993. Susan Rice led the charge to not accept Bin Laden when he was offered to us on a silver platter by the Saudis. Add to this his desire to bring Tom Daschle back into power.

He ran on “Change” while breaking his campaign finance promise. He ran on “Change” then picked one of the longest running Senators as a running mate. He ran on “Change” then hired the same people who have been in politics for decades.

As Joe Biden said over and over again while the cult members cheered him on, that isn’t change, that’s more of the same. The only change is the color of his skin. And by the way, that is a large part of the reason that change scheme actually worked.
