A Phone Call From The Obama Campaign
I was phoned today by a man asking me to join them tomorrow to help get out the vote for Barack Obama. He said they were going to be calling people to answer questions and rally support for Obama. I quickly asked if they needed someone with an interest in economic issues who has been studying economics. He explained further what they were doing and said it may be of help.
I told him that I was asking about economic issues because I do in fact pay much more attention to economics than most and I was concerned about what actually caused the economic challenges. I informed him that voters needed to be aware of the Bill Clinton policies that forced banks to give out bad loans. I informed him that voters needed to be aware of the law suit that Obama worked on to sue Citigroup to give more bad loans to people with little income.
He informed me that he was not aware of such a suit, so I gave him the details and explained to him that most Obama supporters are not aware of the suit. Most Obama supporters are not aware of the liberal policies that caused this mess.
Being an Obama supporter, he first tried to deny the existence of such a suit. He then said that the suit wasn’t important, but the actual verdict of the suit. There was no verdict as the suit ended in a settlement. He then tried to claim that it wasn’t important because it was a long time ago. It was a long time ago? These policies caused this mess, but we can’t talk about Obama’s involvement because it was a long time ago.
Anyways, I told him this only after he gave me the address of where they would be meeting. I’m thinking about a family day tomorrow.
- October 11th

Talking to an Obama supporter about Obam’s economics is like beating an elderly man with his own cane.
Dude, that’s awesome, please do tell us how “family day” went. Best of Luck!
I pray for your safety. Give em hell newpundit. I’m glad you got the address beforehand. I just wonder whether they will have a sign in sheet or a black list to prevent you from entering now that they know a heretic might be in attendance.
Anyway, have a great holiday (Columbus Day, not the nabka, as Obama and friends refer to it).
Indeed that too would be an excellent question for Obama, whether he thinks Columbus Day is worth celebrating, or should it be a day of mourning in remembrance of those innocent Indians/Native Americans by the white man.
“oppressed by the white man”.
They can’t fool me with their lopsided polls. I am a capitalist. McCain-Palin 08.
I dont know what the heck you are talking about. The only Obama/Acorn lawsuit I know about was a motorvoter registration lawsuit and the only Citibank lending lawsuit I know about is their deceptive practices lawsuit where they hid the cost of insurance but THAT was brought by the FTC, the Federal Trade Comission. Is THIS what you are talking about?

Today’s announcement will come slightly more than a week after Citigroup disclosed that it was negotiating to settle a lawsuit brought by the Federal Trade Commission in March 2001, accusing Associates of engaging in ”deceptive marketing practices.” The lawsuit also named Citigroup and CitiFinancial as defendants.
The lawsuit by the trade commission accused Associates of misleading consumers about the cost of the insurance, and not explaining that it ”adds hundreds or thousands of dollars to consumers’ loan costs.”.
Do you guys just make this stuff up or what?
OK I found it. Complete and TOTAL BUNK

This was a lawsuit about redlining and illegal racist banking policy. It had NOTHING to do with forcing banks to make loans to people with ‘little income’ that is ludicrous. So what you did was demand this guy address a rumor about something that never happened which is of course why he never heard of it.
Nice article. Thanks.
