Delta Force Officer Clears The Air On Tora Bora
Despite the lies told by the press and by John Kerry, special forces did in fact try to kill Bin Laden at Tora Bora. The biggest challenge in the operation was in fact the terrain. Afghan fighters who were to actually lead the charge ended up turning on the US forces during a cease fire they had with al Qaeda. Then there is the big issue as told by the officer,
The operation Jackal team observed 50 men moving into a cave that they hadn’t seen before. The Mujahideen said they saw an individual, a taller fellow, wearing a camouflage jacket. Everybody put two and two together, ‘Okay, that’s got to be Osama Bin Laden egressing from the battlefield.’ They called up every available bomb in the air, took control of the airspace. And they dropped several hours of bombs on the cave he went into. We believe, it was our opinion at the time, that he died inside that cave.

Why is there never discussion about Hillary Clinton coming out of a top secret meeting at the Congress and get on a microphone telling folks we would have Bin Laden within 30 minutes because we had his radio/cell phone broadcast, and seconds later his broadcast ceased? Then the WH cut off Democrats from attending top secret meetings.
