The UK health care system has people waiting in ambulance bays because they can't treat them all. That is what government health care gets you. And no respectable economist would agree with high taxes. No country ever taxed itself into prosperity. Just out of curiosity, what exactly did I say that "no respectable economists would ever say"? I'm not an economist, so I don't claim to know the economy well; all I was trying to say is that I don't want to vote for somebody who doesn't trust the professionals.
