Many have characterized the Clintons' comments about Obama "racist". Perhaps it is because I am an insensitive white male, but I do not understand.

If one thought that one's political opponent's policies were far-fetched, can't these policies be described as a fairy tale?

If one felt strongly against drug abuse why couldn't a rival's teenage misconduct be used against him? Dragging skeletons from closets has always been an unfortunate part of the political process.

It seems to me that the Clinton campaigns remarks, which wouldn't even gain notice if used against a Caucasian, are deliberately being misconstrued by the overly sensitive.

To me, to assume that such remarks are racist is, itself, racist.
