carnival of political punditry - October 21, 2007 — When Ron Paul Attacks

Posted by thenewpundit

Welcome to the October 21, 2007 edition of carnival of political punditry. Of the six Presidential Candidate articles, three are about Ron Paul. I like to pick on him because the handful of people voting for him tend to flood the internet with articles and praise for him. This should actually pick up the hits to this carnival.

Please remember to post a link back to this carnival so that your readers can see what everyone else has to say.

SingForHim presents It’s The End of the World As We Know It posted at One Mom’s View.

Oldguy presents Hillary sezs: “Can you dig it,man”? posted at Crazy Uncle in the Attic, saying, “I was 15 years old when 500,000 members of the “counter culture” descended on Yasgur’s farm for the Woodstock Music and Art Fair, my mom wouldn’t let me go.”

Oldguy presents The inevitability of universal health care posted at Anti-antediluvian, saying, “During Bill Clinton’s 1992 campaign one of the issues was health care reform, tapping into a general dissatisfaction about how people were insured and pointing out the numbers of individuals who weren’t.”

Sammy Benoit presents Hillary Clinton’s Opponents– No Guts/No Glory posted at YID With LID.

Jeffrey presents Meet the Candidates: Rudolph William Louis Giuliani posted at The Soggy Liberal.

rareimagery presents Ron Paul v. Corporate Media | RareImagery posted at Rareimagery, saying, “I just got done watching another news cast about the Religious Right and how they don’t have a candidate, and yet again Ron Paul was not mentioned. It’s hard for me to believe that Ron Paul wouldn’t be a sure bet for these people of faith. One of the famous lines for the Bush Administration is fight them over there, so we don’t have to fight them here.”

Bob King presents Ron Paul Rings True on the Issues posted at Graphictruth.

Michael Bass presents Ron Paul: We will not be ruled. posted at Debt Prison.

Scholars & Rogues presents How stupid do Christian politicians believe God really is? « Scholars and Rogues posted at Scholars and Rogues, saying, “Thanks for your consideration!”

Jon Swift presents Fair Game posted at Jon Swift, saying, “What makes conservatives like Malkin and Macsmind different from liberals like Klein is that conservatives would rather struggle and be faced with terrible health care choices than to have no choice at all, which is what would happen under socialized medicine. Living in a free society means having the freedom to go into debt trying to pay for the cost of health care and having the choice to quit your job and take a job you hate because it offers health insurance or to sell your house and move into a homeless shelter to pay for medical costs. People who live in societies that have socialized medicine don’t have these kinds of choices; they have to take the health care the government gives them.”

TherapyDoc presents Zarganar posted at Everyone Needs Therapy, saying, “The best, of course, are pundits who really ARE funny.”

Riversider presents Ribble Barrage and Floodplain Building Developments Take ‘Backward Step’ - Has The Ribble Been Saved? posted at Save The Ribble, saying, “Local bloggers winning the environmental argument.”

Madeleine Begun Kane presents SCHIP Haiku posted at Mad Kane’s Political Madness.

Ian Welsh presents Plus ça change, plus c’est la meme chose posted at The Agonist.
