Got another great email from the oh-so-cute and cuddly John Edwards.

Here’s a few lines.

“In 10 key states, the state councils of the Service Employees International Union (SEIU) endorsed John Edwards for president. That means more than 930,000 members of the fastest growing union in North America believe John is the candidate who will bring real change to America—and they will be working on the ground to elect him president.

The Washington establishment has been trying to turn the Democratic primary contest into a coronation for months. But the nearly 3 million union members who have endorsed John Edwards so far know that he is the one candidate in this race who will bring the change we need, and who can campaign and win anywhere in America—red states, blue states and purple states.”

Nearly 3 million of them believe in you because a few people say so? Really Jonny?

This is another example of what is wrong. Crooked union leaders give millions of union dues to democrats. They do this so that these crooked democrats will pass legislation to make it easier for these crooked unions to strong-arm not only the businesses, but also the union members. Remember the law they were trying to pass that would take away secret ballots? They did so because union leaders want to be able to force the votes in their favor.

John Edwards thinks that because a small handful of crooked union leaders gives an endorsement means that every union member is on his side. Of course, those of us with an IQ high enough to actually register know that this is absolutely false. The actual members of the unions have their own opinions. Many are going to vote for the other democrats, and many are going to vote for republicans. Many know that they are only in a union because they had to join to get work, and would rather work for the company without the due-collecting union. Many know that if the union were not strong-arming the business, that the business could grow and that that growth would help secure their jobs in the future. Many know that crooked unions are largely responsible for the massive problems in the US automakers.

Many know this John, and they know that you are wrong. They aren’t voting for you just because a criminal tells them to do so.
