   That’s a rather retarded comparison to make.

   Democrats and Republicans were on reverse side of all the big issues in the old days. The stereotypical rednecks, proclaiming racism and sporting the confederate flag (Not implying anything about real-life republicans, this is just the stereotype) are all labels of a hot-blooded Republican these days, not a Democrat.
