Am I the Only One Who Finds this Funny?
This dork sent this to me in an email.
Dear Doug,
The system in Washington is rigged against the people who make our country great – working and middle-class families.
With more than 60 lobbyists for every member of Congress, the voices of regular Americans are being drowned out in Washington.
Yesterday, I asked my fellow candidate, Senator Barack Obama – who like me, is not taking money from lobbyists or political action committees – to join me in leading the effort to end the D.C. money game. I asked him to co-sign a letter to the leaders of the Democratic Party urging them to refuse contributions from federal lobbyists.
I hope Senator Obama will help me lead the way towards making the Democratic Party the party of the people once again.
Because I do not take money from federal lobbyists or political action committees, this campaign depends on people like you for support.
Help keep our campaign running on clean money. Thousands of people have already stood up to fuel our campaign for change. Will you join them by making a contribution today – and help us reach our goal of raising $100,000 by Sunday?

Unlike any of the other candidates in this race, I have never taken a dime from Washington lobbyists. I hope they will join me by refusing to accept any and all federal lobbyist money from this point forward.
There is no middle ground – if we want to make our government work for all Americans, we can’t negotiate and compromise with special interest lobbyists and D.C. insiders – we have to stand up and fight back. I’ve fought against these big interests my entire life, and I can tell you they aren’t going to give up their power without a fight.
This campaign is about the interests of working people, not D.C. insiders. I do not take money from federal lobbyists or political action committees – I never have, and I never will. But that means I am depending on the support of people like you.
Keep our campaign running on clean money – donate what you can today, and help us reach our goal of $100,000 by Sunday!

Together, we can end the money game – and make Washington, D.C. work for regular people once again.
Sincerely,
John Edwards

P.S. – The first time I issued this challenge was at the YearlyKos convention in Chicago. Senator Clinton refused to accept the challenge – watch the video here.
Seriously, watch the video. Watch Edwards make an ass of himself yet again.
P.S. – Edwards is a trial lawyer. Make a note of that then read this again.

LOL! he won’t take money from Lobbyists, but he’ll beg it off of regular folks, what a flaming jerk.
You’re totally right, this should be torn fisked by Harv! You could get his email off his web page and mail it to him.
